Needing emergent or urgent care is never planned and can be disruptive to everyday life. Knowing where to receive your care can help save time and money. Please use this guide as a tool to decide where you should go in need of care.

Meet our Providers

Bashar Okka, MD

Dr. Okka has over 25 years of experience serving the community with Clarkston Internal Medicine, as a Hospitalist with Mercy Hospitalist at Trinity Health Hospital- Oakland, and Hospitalist Services of Michigan caring for patients at DMC Huron Valley. His passion for quality patient care, compassion in treatment, and his commitment to Clarkston (and the surrounding area) is seen every day, as he cares for his patients.

Emily Aranyos, PA

Emily completed her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and went on to complete her Masters degree at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN in 2016. She has experience in Emergency Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, and Surgical Oncology. She has over 8 years of experience as a Physician Assistant. She is a member of MAPA and AAPA. She lives here in the community with her husband, daughter, and dog, Chip. We are thrilled to have her as a part of our Care Team.

Andrea Krane, NP

Andrea joined our urgent care in 2023. We are pleased to have a Nurse Practitioner with her expertise working as a member of our Care Team. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Oakland University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University. Her past experience includes Family Medicine, Breast Surgical Care, and urgent care medicine. She also helps the next generation of Nurse Practitioners as a preceptor. She lives with her husband and enjoys outdoor activities in her free time.

Megan Clemence, NP

Megan joined the Clarkston Internal Medicine group in 2019. She works along-side Dr. Okka as an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner. As an Advance Practice Provider (APP) Megan is excellent in diagnosing, treating, and managing cases. She aids in the coverage for Independence Urgent Care as needed. Megan grew up in Michigan and earned her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Oakland University. She lives in the community with her dog, Griffin.
